Offering an ultra-luxury cruise experience, Seabourn have a fleet of 5 intimate ships that evoke a sense of luxury, elegance and refinement. These ships carry up 458 guests to some of the world’s most remote and exotic destinations, their smaller size meaning they can access a greater variety of ports including those which are ‘off the beaten track’. Offering all-suite accommodation, gourmet cuisine and exclusive spa and wellness treatments developed in collaboration with Dr Andrew Weil, the Seabourn experience is exceptional.

TOP HIGHLIGHTS

The expert onboard chefs craft exquisite locally-inspired dishes created from the finest sourced ingredients and each meal is complimented by high quality regional beer or wine. Dine on local favourites like goulash whilst cruising through Hungary, bratwurst and sauerkraut after returning to the ship in Vienna or Camembert while on the Seine. Executive Chef Primus Perchtold, winner of three Gold medals at the European Championship of Culinary Art, oversees the menus aboard every cruise in Europe and each evening guests will find one of his recipes on their pillow should they ever wish to recreate the magic of his dishes at home.

Those who are keen to maintain their fitness whilst on holiday can head to the fully equipped gym or take part in an exercise class such such as yoga. Whilst in port, guests will be delighted to find that a selection of tours and experiences are included such as knotting a bretzel (German for pretzel) in Wertheim and going bratwurst and beer tasting at the oldest brewery in Nuremberg.

Activities

Enjoy leisurely evenings onboard with a selection of entertainment from contemporary piano performances to live Bavarian music. AmaWaterways have smaller vessels which means fewer passengers, at most 164. One of their smallest and most exclusive ships is the Zambezi Queen in Africa which accommodates just 28 guests. With fewer people onboard, public spaces are never crowded and accomodations range from 155 square feet all the way up to 350 square feet. Each stateroom or suite is superbly decorated with modern amenities including temperature controls, media library with movies and music on demand, complimentary wifi, a flat screen TV which also works as a computer and spacious bathrooms with multi-jet shower heads.

Natalia says "Explore the Hato Caves if your ship docks in Curacao. Learn a bit of the history of these caves, catch a glimpse of its bats, and marvel at the limestone formations that have been naturally carved out over the years."
